S1 / S2 Course
All pupils in S1/2
follow a common course of skill building and basic knowledge and
understanding. Throughout the year pupils will develop practical
performing skills on Keyboard, Bass Guitar, Drum Kit and Tuned Percussion.
To enhance performing skills pupils will also learn about written
notation which will be supported by
homework throughout the year. Pupils
will also develop listening skills and learn to appreciate a number of
different styles and genres of music.
Homework will be issued by class teachers throughout the year and pupils
will be given 1 week to complete the task. If a pupil
loses their sheet they can download from here. There is also a very
useful aid they can download.
