Prefects |
|
Within Annan Academy, there are a number
of Junior prefects (5th years) and a number of Senior prefects (6th
years.) These are decided upon through a voting system which is
carried out by fellow pupils and member of staff.
Both Senior and Junior prefects have a
day each week where they have to carry out certain duties around
the school. For example, library, dining hall and patrol of the
school playground. Prefects also help out at other events including
parents’ evenings and school concerts/shows during the school year. All
prefects have joint duties with another prefect whether it be junior or
senior. They also have a prefect badge which they wear everyday.
The junior prefect badges are green and the senior prefect badges, yellow.
